Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) was established in 1907 as a public research university located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Except for Beijing and Shanghai, Wuhan has always been one of China’s three important science education centers. Also, it has the largest number of students among all cities in China.

HUST (Huazhong University of Science and Technology) was formed by the former Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) merger, Wuhan Urban Construction College, Wuhan Vocational College of Science and Technology, and Tongji Medical University in 2000. It belongs to the Ministry of Education of China. It is part of the “985 Project”, which aims to promote China’s higher education system’s reputation and development. HUST (Huazhong University of Science and Technology) is also a top-ranking “A” top university and was selected as one of the “Top Ten Research Institutions in China” by Nature magazine.

Admission Procedure

MBBS in China for Indian students‘ eligibility has various parameters. To be eligible to study MBBS at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), applicants must have a 50% science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) background having physics, chemistry, and biology. The minimum age is 17 years old, and the upper limit is 25 years old. Universities do not require IELTS (International English Language Test System) or TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) scores for admission. Due to the maximum demand for seats, the university requires all people with medical intentions to apply before the end of June or July.
