Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) was established in 1907 as a public research university located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Except for Beijing and Shanghai, Wuhan has always been one of China’s three important science education centers. Also, it has the largest number of students among all cities in China.

HUST (Huazhong University of Science and Technology) was formed by the former Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) merger, Wuhan Urban Construction College, Wuhan Vocational College of Science and Technology, and Tongji Medical University in 2000.
